PostgreSQL entity framework

entity-framework postgresql

Question

Can someone please explain me how to get PostgreSQL and MS Entity Framework to function together?

Also, how does Mono's Entity Framework function? Would you kindly list any other ORM tools that are comparable and that operate on Mono, along with your thoughts on them?

Accepted Answer

Additionally compatible with Npgsql, a.Net Data Provider for Postgresql, is Entity Framework. Here is a guide on how to set it up: http://www.npgsql.org/ef6/index.html

PostgreSQL now has entity framework support thanks to a Devart product. See:

For PostgreSQL, there is a provider for mono. See:
