Visual Studio 2012 does not have Entity Framework menu

Entity Framework menu is not there in my edition of Visual Studio 2012.

How do I obtain it?

Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 is what I'm using.

Accepted Answer

If utilizing entity framework, you need to install two things:

  • In the Package Manager console, Entity Framework

PM> Install-Package EntityFramework

alternatively, install EntityFramework -pre if the EF6 is already running in that condition.

The options from the context menu for the powertools are some of the best.

To get the desired behavior, remember to just click on a file containing DBContext.
