Entity framework nesting complex types

ef-database-first entity-framework entity-framework-6

Accepted Answer

In my opinion, nesting refers to enclosing one class declaration inside another:

public class A {
    public class B { }
}

Class B could not be mapped as an entity or complex type in earlier iterations of EF, however it is now possible with EF6. Only this definition of nesting is relevant to this feature.

You are still unable to map a list of complex kinds to your inquiry. You must use entities if you want a list (both as parent and children).
