Changing Namespaces in Entity Framework

asp.net c# entity-framework namespaces

Question

I'm attempting to modify the Entity Framework Generator of classes' Namespace.

I see a place where I may alter the namespace when I click the designer of my Entity, Model.edmx:

Namespace

attributes of the ConceptualEntityModel. Despite changing that namespace, nothing changed. failed to work I then read some assistance from this link:

http://weblogs.asp.net/zeeshanhirani/struggling-through-namespace-in-entity-framework

it says I need to modify the property: Individual Tool Namespace

It's wonderful to see that the property is there when I click the.edmx file's property in the console application. But the property is absent when I use the identical object in a Internet application. The single property file, Web File Settings, contains just three properties:

  • Unique Tool
  • File Name
  • Full Route

What do I not see here?

rainerh is accurate:

My attempt to set*.edmx The Individual Tool Namespace attribute was ineffective.
My attempt to set*.Context.tt property - this was also ineffective.
However, if I set the Individual Tool Namespace property of*.tt Namespaces were automatically set for all previously generated classes in the file (right-click on the file and select Properties).
