Question

Since Azure Redis caching is new to me, I'm using Azure SQL Server as my database and MVC 5 With Entity Framework 6.1 as my framework. Also on Azure is the website.

I must cache a few Redis tables that are solely read-only. These tables currently have an 8 GB size, although that amount may rise in the future.

1) How do I attach these tables to the Redis cache, please? 2) How do I update the Redis cache with recently inserted rows? Or should I remove it and make a new one?

I appreciate it.

Your tables can be serialized and kept in the Cache. The blog that follows describes how to use Redis Cache and SQL Server to store your data. It also makes use of EntityFramework and MVC.
