Inserts/deletes/updates are not visible in SQL Profiler.

entity-framework sql sqlprofiler sql-server-2005

Question

The profiler only seems to provide SELECTs while my program is running; it doesn't appear to show any INSERTs or other database-changing operations. However, my database is being updated, indicating that those actions are being carried out. What must I do to have it display updates? (I am, by the way, using Entity Framework, if that makes a difference.)

I discovered how to accomplish it; I had to choose.SQL:StmtStarting and SP:StmtStarting , not justSQL:BatchStarting or SP:Starting .

The inserts/deletes, etc., are different, but I'm not sure what they mean. When I included those incidents, it became apparent.
