what is the difference between entity and entity set names?

I'm using SP1 and.Net 3.5.

This may be easy. However, I'm unsure of the distinction between an entity name and an entity set name.

Please assist me.

A class name is the name of an entity.

A query is an entity set name.

For instance, you may have an entity collection called "People" and an entity with the name "Person". As a result, you may create code that:

Person bob = Context.People.Where(p => p.Id == bobId).Single();
