Data Access Layer using Entity Framework

.net asp.net entity-framework

Question

I want to develop an entity framework data access layer in my ASP.NET application so I can use it as an ORM tool. However, I don't want the entity framework-specific code to affect or be noticed by the rest of the application.

I'm eager to see any online instances of this or hear about people's experiences since I can't seem to locate anybody that uses the entity architecture entirely in their data access layer.

Popular Answer

The repository technique, as ScottGu uses with Linq in the NerdDinner series, may be used to abstract the entity framework.
